Depending on your age you may believe that this is how things have always been, but any older person will tell you that things have gotten worse. Jesus told of specific world events and situations that would clearly show that ungodly system has entered its last days Matthew 24:3, 7-14

Heck yeah. If you look at all the prophesies in Isaiah, Daniel, Revealations, and even some of the writings of Paul. You can really see the "signs of the times". I'm not even sure that we are at the beginnning, I think we may be somewhere in the middle.

No. Unfortunately, its not nearly bad enough yet. According to the bible lawlessness will prevail, and as of yet we still have courts, police, etc, and even though they may be corrupted, they still maintain fairly good order. So yeah, thats just one thing.

I don't know about you, but in 1899 there was serious fanatical frenzy all over the Christian world.
Even worse in 999.
You focus too much on eschatology and not on the message.

According to Hal Lindsey, Armageddon was supposed to have happened in 1986. I'll let you know if I see Jesus floating down from the sky.

No. Historically speaking, what you are feeling is not uncommon. Every time period and generation has had this feeling since the beginning of time, look it up if you don;t believe me. I believe it has to do with us,we believe that "our" time in space is unique, and therefor special.
