Sean Connery (married twice, still in 2nd marriage)
Granted Sean was born and raised in Scotland, however; Scotland is part of Great Brittan thus makes him a British actor. Definitely NOT Gay. In my opinion he MADE the Char. James Bond come to life far better than Roger Moore or any other actor over time who's played Bond.
Roger Moore (Married and I know he has two children one boy and one girl; but that was YEARS ago so I have no idea if he has any more children since I was living in England all those years ago or not.) Not Gay, however as far as his personality goes, he's quite a jerk and stuck on himself especially after his playing James Bond and giving him the "Ladies man" Reputation.

dean28 - you need to get your facts right, Sir Ian McKellen is gay and proud of it, he has lived with his life partner for about 30 years (another male) and a standing member of Gay Pride networks.
it can be hard to tell with a lot of them, look at what Elton John did to stay in the closet - he got married.
