I asked a 92 year old man this question, on his birthday. I suggested he had time to think about this on his own time. He looked at me in the eye - "How would you know until you die?"

depends on your belief system, but our physical body ceases to exits however a spirit or energy still remains on for a while, and this is for sure cause it is medically proven that our hair and nails continue to grow after the body should be dead, that tells me that there is still energy there, something that has no energy cannot grow without something being there, if you are asking if there is a heaven or hell, well, I for myself believe that there is a God and I do my best to live the way it wants me to, I would rather be on the right side than find out I was on the wrong side, our energy goes on in some way, if you will be fully able to understand all that is happening, that's a question onto itself.

Perhaps we come face to face with our God, or merely a fly. Perhaps our souls are transported to another realm, reincarnated into new earthly creatures, or simply returned to dust.

What happens to our bodies? They may be embalmed, buried, cremated, eaten by birds, recycled for transplant, or displayed in a museum. Left untouched, they will slowly decompose. They could become cadavers donated to science.

Every culture has its own unique perspective and reaction to death: It may be the cause for a holiday, a party, fear, sorrow, or seen simply as part of the life cycle. Death has numerous representations, metaphors, and colors.

You are unconcious and you are in a deep sleep. You are in no way alive. The only way you would know what was going on is if you were of the few selected to go to heaven. REALLY read your bible.

well i guess that just depends on your beliefs...If you believe in GOD and the stories of the Bible then you already know whats going to happen..If you believe in reincarnation then just wait for the next life to take over..if you believe in nothing then i guess youll just be worm food or a pile of ashes..either way what do you care at that point ur dead

Guess it depends on if you are going up or down.

Read your bible? Yeah right, like that has all the answers. Mind as well read Shrek, both are great stories.
