A question about Tom Cruise on an old TV show?

I saw an episode of "The Partridge Family" not to long ago, and I SWEAR I saw a young Tom Cruise in it. Does anyone know where I can find if it really WAS him?

I checked IMDB, and couldn't find anything...

Cruise was born in July 1962, and the Partridge Family had its last episode in March 1974. So it's not impossible.

Tom's first acting gigs listed are Endless Love and Taps, both in 1981. I don't think he started acting under after high school.
