No travel with Visas or American Express cards is better. You can get better changing rates using this cards than using money or travelers checks and you also can loose the money more easily. Bring sufficient cash for 2 or 3 days.

Take a small amount of cash just to get you through the frst dayor so. take travellers cheques in Euros as this is more useful in Europe that way should anything happen you will be able to have them replaced, if something happened with cash that would be it and you would have no back up,

You will need Euros for most of Europe so take travelers checks that can be exchanged. We usually take only what we need to tip and the rest is on our Visa/MC, American Express isn't accepted in All countries.

the best way is to take your debit card or credit card.beacuse you can withdraw euro with your card. If you take travellers check u may have to pay interest on every check that you will cash. cash.... no way it can be stolen easily...

Just take enough cash to convert to euros. Most of them advise just using your atm because there is a better exchange rate. In my experience, I found using the atm very convenient and the charges are not that unreasonable ( I even get charged more if I withdraw from a bank here in the U.S.).
