If you have a torch and a welder you can do whatever you please! Wil it be legal? most likely not. Will it sound good? If it has a V8 and no leakes in the exahust...I'd like it, but boy it would be loud!! I would at least find some old burned out glass packs for looks and a little tone. If you have a V6... not just no, but hell no! Stay with stock(it is an embarisment to muscle cars and owners alike when they have a V6, even worse when it sounds pissed off). Last Question, Will it run right? If you keep your o2 sensor in the system it sould keep your engine light from coming on. if not the light will come on but it will not hurt it to bad. You will lose some fuel efficency but should be fine

You can install a cat back system with highflow catalytic converters and still remain legal in all 50 state, and bump up your HP by a fair number. You might have to install highpro O2 sensors if you have 3 or 4 wire sensors, though. Be sure to install a k&n filter system, though, or your engine will starve for air.

Not legally. Too much noise, and catalytic convertors are part of the emissions system that will prevent you from passing a smog test. Plus, the entire exhaust system is matched to the engine, so if you tamper with it, you can negatively affect the performance of the car. Unless you nave some extreme engineering background, don't eff with it.

It will work, but you may have one of two things happen,or both. One, it may fiddle with the onboard computer on the car, or two, the cops will pull you over because of the excessive noise. Also, no father is going to let his daughter out of the house if he hears that racket coming down the street.

It would be to loud, and it would pollute the air, and your car uses a oxygen sencer to keep the engine running at it's best performance...cutting off the exhaust would make it run very bad. And besides it's against the law...big fine if they catch you...so don't

I have found that it tends to confuse the computer when you eliminate backpressure. You may have to buy some performance parts...maybe a performance chip or MAP sensor.

in most states it will not pass inspection and you could damage the engine if you want better preformance or sound upgrade to3 inch pipe and aftermarket mufflers and put headers on engine

if you cut it off after the downstream o2 sensor, but buy a super chip program and spend your $ where it can actually do you some good
