Education needs to change in the US. To many kids fail because it's boring. Kids in other places are done with High School at 14. In the US 100 years ago an 8th grade education was the same as finishing high school. Can't blame the teachers they are stuck there also. To many rules on what to do in class- no free thinking. It's the lack of education by elected officials. + keeping kids out of the work place that hurts too. Girls are making better grades and boys and there are more of them in collage now. That's a first more girls in collage than guys.

When I think of high school, I think of a place that I totally hate being at. High school is filled with so many things. Its full of kids talking behind each others backs and putting trust to the ultimate test. Its hard finding friends in high school because the question "what is a friend?" gets put to the test and it is hard to find the answer to it. It is hard to find people who are like you and that you like to have fun with. In my high school its full of drinking and things that I don't agree with at all. I can not wait to be out of high school, although I don't feel I am strong enough yet to handle the real world. But my high school is so full of drama and I can't stand it anymore! But I know when I put things in Gods hands, everything will work out just fine and I can get through it. He will give me the strength I need to move on the more important things in life.

i think of all the lovely hoochie i missed out on. like all the things i could have done and wished i did but now i can't. i missed having a true love, missed doing well then so i could be doin better now. missed having some good friends. but life doesn't always work out like it is supposed to. or i mean, like a person wants.
and to LJ, life is pretty much like that. unfortunately, there are a lot of materialistic ppl out there. most ppl suck.
