You can put in your Brand, Make and Model of computer it will tell you how much RAM you can have in your computer and you can buy it directly from them. They are a VERY reputable site...I order from them frequently at work.

If you want to pick it up at your local store, just use Crucial to find what type of RAM you need (Probably PC133).

To get up to 256, you need two 128MB sticks.

The lowest RAM prices I have seen are in the Toronto College street strip west of spadina like www.factoryoutlet.ca.
Since your current RAM sticks are not matched modules currently, we know that they don't need to go in in pairs.
If I were you, I would remove one of the sticks and take it into a shop local to you, and tell them you need a single 256 M module of the same TYPE. Since you already have a 64M and a 32M in there now, if you want, you can leave the 64M in wih the 256 for a total of 320M RAM. The reason I say get one stick is thatlater on, if you decide you want to go to 512M, you can remove the 64M and add another 256M.
If you want to be 100% sure the ram that you get will work, have itinstalled by a professional. Just make sure you ask for a sngle stick of 256 rather than 2 128M sticks.

Two sites with selection tools to help youo make sure you get the right memory for your computer. It's possible your computer can handle a single stick of 256 MB, it's also possibly you'll need two 128 MB Sticks. Right now, you probably have a single 64 MB stick and a 32 MB stick. And the 2 MB that's missing is probably shared with your graphics card. (I hate those systems).

yeah, basically every single PC mag. in bookstores has kingston and crucial comparison in them at one time or another, really it's the one u find has what u need for a price u can afford. You can get single ram chips with up to 1GB of mem. on them, of course they cost a little more than 2X512MB because it only takes up one slot, i have 2GB total in mine, divided into 4X512MB chips and i love it, i've never had to do any sort of clearing or had any problems with them, i'm not sure the brand though, sry about that. Good luck finding the right one!!

you can find the maximum capability of memory of your computer in your motherboard (mainboard) manual book. if you can't find the book, you can bring your computer to the computer store, and ask them how much the capability, also the price for it.
