I am thinking Los Angeles or the O.C! Honestly I don't know where exactly.. But I would like to know how the weather is at that time of the year and should I be going there? It's beautiful on pictures, but is it a great place to party, to have fun, and to relax?!?!?

Thanks!!! Any suggestions would be appreciated

It would help to know where you are coming from and what interests you. The weather can be very unpredictable in January, but usually it tends to be sunny all year round, with mild temperatures, especially when compared to almost anywhere else in the states.
I would suggest you stay on the West-side. Santa Monica is great and a must is going to the Venice boardwalk and the Venice canals. If there is something more specific you want to know, add it to your details on your question. Have fun!

I'd recommend San Diego. I live in the northern part of California, and I think for relaxing, great weather, and fun, it can't be beat. They've got the famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, a great aquarium, and an "old town" that's full of parties and ethnic festivals.

Usually January is the Wet month for So. Cali. It may be in the 60's, but could dip to the 50's. Depends on which part of L.A. you plan to stay. Some of it is like the shows you see on TV, other areas are just like the middle of NYC. As long as you are friendly and open, most of the true So Cali will be of help to you.

I live in Orange County, and usually January and February are the "rainy" season. And even if it isn't raining it tends to be overcast and cool -- but still better than most places in January!

Where are you going there from... if you are heading there from the midwest you will definitely find it warm (if nto a bit rainy).... I'd suggest booking yourself a hotel near Disneyland, they will be very cheap that time of year, and the nice thing is because it is such a touristy area, it is very safe...and it is easy to find transportation to other places.
