i love 80's bands "POWER BALLADS" motley crue - love song, Steel heart - she's gone and alot more . .the lyrics grow on you . . .and the melody you cant get of your head . . .from the face melting solos, heard poounding drum beat . . .guns and roses, slash creates melodic and haunting guitar solos, bon jovi has created numerous 80's songs that are athems to some people . . .metallica has great albums from ride the lightning to the snake/black album whoo can forget "SEEEEEK ANNNNNN SEEEEEK AND DESTROY! hahaha . . happy days man . .your question sure did brought out happy memories of being drunk in high wasted and scathed during the 80's . ..rock on!

Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, Judas Priest, Ozzy, AC/DC, and I know they weren't metal, but the Police were also really good, too.

eeveryband you just now mentioned is an awsome band but there are so many more. 80's rock has to be my favorite type of music it seems as if they have the most talent. Especially Metallica and Iron Maidon

I love 80's hair metal. My favorites are Tesla and Faster Pussycat. Poison, Winger and Cinderealla were great, but I'll always be a big fan of Faster Pussycat.

I love Tesla and badlands, also a fan of Poison... I own that sold only on TV power ballads CD, its my fav!
