When you are a legal adult (age 18 in most US states) you can change your name to whatever you wish (I hope you realize the impact of this on your parents when you do it.)
You can never change your birth certificate back.

I don't know where you live.
Some jurisdictions have open adoption; others do not.
Ontario just changed the law where adoptees will now be able to obtain their original birth certificates and learn about their birth parents. Birth parents however can object to any contact and that can be enforceable.
Speak to a lawyer to see what laws your jurisdiction has.

You need to be 18, or have your parents permission (adoptive or who ever your legal guardian is). If you are 18 you can go to a lawyer and he/she can file the paper work to change you name. Why would you want to change it?

Orginal info??? what besides your name?
But to change your name you go to court as an adult and apply for a legal name change, You can change your name to anything you would like.
( you can not have the adoption overturned) so you are still adopted and your adopted parents are still legally your parents.

No you can't. Your information has been legally changed and sealed.
You cannot change your adoptive birth certificate, but there is nothing stopping you from legally changing your name!

Go to Court and Legally change it
Heck a couple of 3rd Cousins of mine legally changed their last name to their Mom's maiden name because their Dad killed their Mom (their Mom is my blood relative by the way).

Anyone can change their legal name. I recommend going to Google and searching for "name change (state)" where you would insert the name of the state in which you live.
Good luck!

This is a question to ask a lawyer, I would think that you could legally change you name to what it was. I hope that all works out for you. God Bless

when you're 18 you can legally change your name to whatever you want it to be. not sure what original info you mean but whatever is on your birth certificate (date, time, place of birth, person who delivered you, etc) remains the same.

Isn't that kind of a slap in the face to your adoptive family? They raised you.
