Pray...

and also maybe try ignoring him. if he always bugs you, and you react to it, thats giving him what he wants- attention.

so even if he pokes you or hits you.
dont let it get to you. and maybe he'll stop.

HOPEFULLY.

When your brother is being nice, treat him kindly. When he's being horrible and trying to make you cry. Ignore him completely. Like he's not in the room. Like he doesn't exist. This will not be easy for you at first, but if you stick with it, you'll get the result you want and end up helping your brother in the long run.

Good luck!

clothes hampers work really well... hahahaha

no seriously, kids are hard to deal with sometimes. he seems a little old for this kind of behavior though. I think he might be trying to get attention.

Instead of spanking, perhaps sending him to his room saying something like "we were having fun and playing, so if you want to scream and cry, please do it in your room, we don't want to be bothered. You can come back when you act like a good big boy"

or something along those lines.

The mantra "this is a phase" might help you through this rough time as well!

Believe me, Summer, I bet his friends aren't angels at home....LOL....It's just a phase that he is going through, he'll get back to himself, I promise......My 31/2 year old went through that with her sister. It lasted about 4 weeks or so then she went back to her normal "angelic" self....LOL.

it's a phase he's going through...how old are you? Just subtract your current age from 18 and that's how long you have before you can move out...lol, good luck!

Tell him if he doesn't stop, he'll turn white. Swear to it. He'll stop pestering you. It's called 'trauma'.
