If it's some type of toolbar, just click View-->Toolbars and uncheck the unwanted toolbar's name in the list by clicking on it.

For a more permanent solution...use Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the unwanted software.

Use the Add/remove programs to get rid of part of it. Download and run Adaware to get rid of the rest of what is left behind. This will also improve the speed of your internet connection by eliminating other spyware.

Tools > Manage Add-ons

Click on each one and click disable to turn it off.
Restart your computer / IE
