I 2nd the original Black and White "Night of the Living Dead."

I was 9 when it first came out in the Drive-ins. And, we lived in the Country with only one neighbor across the street, some 100 yards or more. I didn't sleep that night.

It was scary because I was nine, I lived in the Country for the first time in my life, and I had an active imagination.

The best thing that came out of that experience... I no longer have nightmares since that night....

Yea, The Eye, although I'm not sure if it's the same one What2006 is thinking of. The one I'm thinking of is this really freaky late 80s Japanese movie that messed me up big time!! I can't go by dumpsters at night now cuz of that movie!

I'm quite desensitised, but I'd have to say Show Girls, that movie is a freak show.
Gigli is a close second.
I know these aren't horrors/thrillers, but I love those sort of movies - the more the merrier.

The Ammitiville Horror movie (the 2nd one).

I love scary movies, I can watch them alone, in the pitch dark, then go to bed and not even think about it. But, that movie...yikes, it seemed so evil to me, I got rid of it just because I didn't want it in my house anymore! lol

Night of the Living Dead freaked me out. The original black and white one I mean. I was in high school and baby sitting at this big dark house and watched it after the kids went to bed. SCARY

i saw this australian movie once about a ghost that came back to life, it was made in the late 80's, but the ghosts were from the colonial days when britain ruled, so they went around their old camp killing all these tourists.....very scary...

the only movie that has ever scared me and i still have to watch it with all the lights on to this day is arachnophobia, because i'm terribly afraid of spiders and seeing all of them freak me out no matter how old i am.
