Coach hand bags are made in China. I have several coach handbags, makeup bags, wristlett and sunglasses bought from the Coach store directly. On the inside leather swatch it says:
This is a Coach bag. It was handcrafted in China from natural cowhide leather. The variations in the grain are characteristic of full-grain leather. It's superior craftsmanship and attention to detail reflect our commitment to enduring quality.
The leather swatch inside will have a serial number right below that.
note: this leather swatch is only in handbags, not in accessories....as far as i'm aware of.

Fake,coach would not sell something of that nature unless of course you hit the jack pot in an outlet store.

Look on the inside pocket of your coach bag. There should be a leather coach label with a number. This number is unique for each bag that is produced. You can actually go online and register your own bag using the number that is printed on the leather label within your bag. Register bag if you have not done so!

1ST... IF YOU DO FIND A FAKE COACH BAG, PLEASE REPORT IT BY EMAILING TO: LAWDEPARTMENT at Coach . com OR BY CALLING THE ANTI-COUNTERFEITING HOTLINE OF COACH AT 1-800-396-1807
The Easiest way to tell is by looking at the seams... the REAL Coach will have the "C's" line up almost perfectly at the seams... the FAKES will be way off !!!
There is never a row of single C's, they always appear as a pair of C's
Dust bags should be dark chocolate-color brown, with a RED drawstring... and the words "COACH EST. 1941" in white
The inside serial number should start with "No" (abbreviation for number) and have 4 numbers after the dash (not 3)
The paragraph above the serial number should be in English & in all capital letters
On the logo tag, the word "COACH" should be raised, not imprinted
Coach uses ykk zippers... check the markings on the zippers

You look inside for the label that reads Coach and that there isn't a tear on the label.

if it says anything other than 'coach' on the INSIDE (i.e, made in china), or something like that then it is not real

look at the patch on the inside of the purse, it should say COACH and you can tell by the patterns on the purse (if its crooked its fake!) and also, if it has leather on it, look to see if looks cheap or feels buttery!

Look inside the bag, if it says Coach made in Italy or somehting it's real.
Made in china
FAKE!
If there is nothing inside, it's fake as well.
I have a coach handbag and it says COACH blblblblsananlanananlan MADE IN ITALY therfore it's real.
Same as all desigenrs.

if it has the two c's facing tword each other. also, what i do is so to the coach store and let one of thier assistants tell you.
