I share a computer (we use windows) and I want to keep my stuff so someone else cant look at it, like you need a Password to open the File?

just get a security software which CAN LOCK YOUR HARD DISK or ANY FOLDERS YOU WANT...i know 1 but

ill let you find it your self MAKE INTERNET WORTH SEARCHING FOR....

Right click the folder, go to properties, click sharing tab, and check the box that says make this folder private.

If your search windows zip files they will give you a way to password restrict zip files...sorry have not done it in several years...but they are a pain to open if you have a lot or forget password..

I believe you can if you right click on the folder and selecting SECURITY. I never done it before so I can't help you enough.

if you need it extremely secure get Cryptainer it is a free application for storing up to 25mb with a high level of encryption for larger storage they will sell you a version but 25 mb works quite well for me

you need to setup the user accounts and from there you can configure if you want to make your files private.

A simple suggestion: why don't you make a user just for yourself.

ANSWER FROM MICROSOFT.COM - will work with office documents (word, excel, power point, etc..)
