I'm graduating soon and am not sure whether to go on and obtain my masters in the Physician Assistant program or become a Pharmacist. Any suggestions out there???

You need to look at what you want more, working by yourself or working one on one with patients? I also would look into the difference is salary. As a Physicians Assistant you would probably not work weekends. Pharmacist would be probably work weekends starting out, and on your feet all the time. I would say look at yourself. What fits your personality. In my doctors office I see a Physicians Assistant I find him to be better at times than seeing the doctor himself, the time they take and he really listens and looks at the overall picture. I value him totally. I think of these two as completely different professions, with two totally different demands on the person. Walk into a Pharmacy, speak to the Pharmacist and ask them the pros and cons. Speak with some Physicians Assistants and ask them the same. It's like apple and oranges, what one do you prefer.

you may want to take grad courses at a nearby university as a student-at-large (not officially in the program, but taking courses) to see that this is really what you want to do.

Good luck!
