For me it is both. I met a guy from Maine and at first it was just friendly chatter but now we are actually developing feelings for each other. We talk on the phone everyday as well as on the net. Words of wisdom get to know the person really good though phone and chatting before meeting them in person.

Yes I have made some very good friends from here on answers...and 1 in particular I would say it is safe to say I am more than bonded with :)

Yes as a matter of fact I have made a few friends on here that i correspond with on a daily basis....Which is very kool, good friends are hard to come by. even if they are only online friends......they mean alot to me

No we met too late --bad timing --for it to have been more :( so we are great friends and I hope that we meet someday when the time is right. I love him so much as a friend!! We are a lot alike.

i would like to. that would be cool. i e-mailed this girl a couple of days ago and complimented her on her awsome avatar picture. it was a freaky looking young woman in dark blues and blacks, holding her head up the way you would hold it with one arm on the table. she said it was a painting, but she didn't remember the name. does that count? :-)
