"Ben Wallace has been the face of the Detroit Pistons the last five years. No more," writes Chad Ford of ESPN INSIDER. "A league source told ESPN.com Monday night that Wallace has told the Pistons he has accepted an offer from the Chicago Bulls. While exact details are unavailable, the offer is thought to be a four-year, $52 million dollar deal. A deal can't become official until July 12, when the salary cap is set for the 2006-07 season and exact contract values can be computed."

no, IT'S NOT. It is true that the BUlls would like him to. THe Bulls are going to make him a super offer, but, I do not believe that the Pistons won't counter it, or, make him an unbelieveable deal. He is a free agent. YOU can read more about this by doing a yahoo search for Chicago Sun-Times sports, or, Ben Wallace and the Bulls. I think he loves Detroit too much to leave, but, then again, money has a way of totally re-defining just exactly what love is. Take care.

Yeah, it is. This is going to be huge. Now the Bulls are developing a nice team with some incredible athletes in Tyrus Thomas and Ben Wallace, and a young sharpshooter in Ben Gordon. This is going to hurt Detroit too. I would be surprised to see Detroit make it to the Finals next year with the loss of Ben Wallace. Detroit's defense was already going down, and now without big Ben they are really going to be hurting. Here are some links about it.

Yes he is. Huge mistake by Wallace, Chicago fans won't be nearly as forgiving of the huge flaws in his game!

he's won one championship , it's best he transfer to antoher team that will offer him a lot. he's been underpaid too long.. if he's going to the bulls then then bulls would be a contender for next season. theyve already got a young team with good players ...
