I hear people talking about how tall buildings are, and they use "stories" as a unit of measure. How much is a story?

a "story" is a floor level. How many levels do you have in youre house? for instance....i have an upstairs and a downstairs. That is two floors, or two stories. hope this helps.

a floor can be categorized as a story and it can be among 3 to 6 meters on normal constructions though sometimes they can surpass 10 meters but its rare just for convention centers or similars
