My wife and I had 5 children. All look like me. She wants a blood test to see if she's the mom. Can she do it?

Yes she was pregnant with all five. She did not sleep around, and I was in the delivery room. She doesn't question whether I am the father, she wants to know if she is the mother. They all look like me. Please edit your answers and give more help. Thanks, I am desperate.

No. We are not in the process of a divorce. She just wants certainty. Is that so bad. Don't fathers do it all the time?

Men do it all the time because they question whether their sexual partner slept around or not, but when a woman carries the child in her womb for 9 months that is usually a good indication that she is the mother. There are other factors that you might not have told us that may make a slight difference such as a medical procedure where the wrong eggs were fertilized with your 'stuff' and then placed in her uterus. The answer to your question though is sure she could do it if she is of a mind to spend that money and go through the testing. It seems ridiculous though to throw that money away. Take the children on a vacation instead.

Well, if she wants certainty, then I suppose it is fine. But there is really no point in it, with no meaness intended. It is just that the babies had come from her, and she is genetically and biologically the mother. And if they looked like you, then you should be the father...

But if it would clear her mind, then it is nice that you are doing this for her.

Well, first of all, is she bipolar? No,? OK, well I was going to say that maybe she thinks that you impregnated another woman at the same time, they were in the same hospital, and you switched children, but that is to far stretched and it would mean that you planted another man's sperm inside of her while she was asleep. I would let her have the blood test, and if it turns out she is not the mom, then I would suspect alien interference somehow. Good luck.

lolol I think it might be a good idea! I sometimes think the nurses must have gotten 3 or 4 or mine mixed up with other babies in the hospital and I took the wrong kid home!

unless they mixed them up at the hospital (which isn't unheard of) what good will it do? find a phsyical deformity and look for that in all your children, I have a toe deformity (kinda) and on my lower lip there is a little crease, all my kids have the same thing.
let her pay for the test if it will help her sleep at night.

What, is she for real? None of my 3 kids look like me; even though I wish they did at least a little bit. But what can you do? Just wait til they get older their looks will change.
