Green Card (1990)
Gerard Depardieu is Frenchman who has been offered a job in the U.S. But in order to get the job he must obtain a work permit - green card. Bronte Parrish is a New Yorker who is a keen horticulturist and just found the perfect flat with its own greenhousebut the building rents to married couples only. A marriage of convenience seems the ideal solution to both problems. To convince the immigration officers they are married for love, they must move in with each other. As the mismatched couple attempt to cope with life together, they start to fall in love.
My favourite Andie McDowell movie...She and Gerard are hilarious as the couple. One of the best endings in any romantic comedy. Powerful and passionate.

Groundhog Day (1993)
Andie McDowell and the unbelievably good Bill Murray in one of best the romantic comedies of our time. If you have not...you must see it.

Mr. Destiny (1990)
unhappy and feeling powerless over his life, James Belushi...believes his entire life could have turned out differently had he not missed that shot in a baseball game when was a kid. One night he meets this mysterious man, who could change his fate by offering him that alternative life he always dreamed of. But as Burrows embarks on this journey of self discovery he realises that even this new life has its problems and drawbacks..
A warm and fuzzy look at what happens when one man takes a walk onto the grass on the other side of 'what if". Excellent.

Dave (1993)
To avoid a potentially explosive scandal when the U.S. President goes into a coma, an affable temp agency owner with an uncanny resemblance, is put in his place.
Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver star as pres and his first lady in this light hearted and very warm comedy. Good stuff.

For this particular genre, my top 5 are (In no particular order)...

- When Harry Met Sally
- A Life Less Ordinary
- Secretary (Yes, it is actually a rom-com)
- The Baxter
- Where the Heart Is

These are movies that I'll go back to every once in a while, if I want to watch a rom-com.

'Serendipity' is one of my all time favorite romantic comedies. 'Kate and Leopold' is really cute... The campy 'Down with Love' is nice for something a bit different..Jane Austen's 'Emma' with Gweneth Paltrow is SO romantic. 'While You Were Sleeping' and 'You've Got Mail' are romantic comedy classics too.

I dont see something incorrect with that. To me it really is like conserving that 'action video clips are for women and men shouldn't watch them'. there is not any damage in staring at them. each individual is diverse and everyone likes diverse issues. i'm a chick and that i in my opinion won't be able to face romantic video clips, i recognize horror video clips notwithstanding. It shouldnt remember what sort of flicks someone likes.

My personal all favorite is She's the One (Edward Burns, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Anison). If you haven't seen it you've got to rent it (if you lived closer I would let you borrow my copy). Some real funny s**t! What are still doing on the computer? Go! Video store! Now! You can give me my 10 points later.

Kate and Leaploed I'm not sure the spelling is right. but I liked that movie. I belive it was about a man from the past meeting a woman from the future and they fall in love.
