Im having both done the ablation and a D&C.

The next day you can go about your regular routine..You will cramp for a couple of days...

are you having a D&C or an Ablasion of the uterus these are two different things. A D&C is as if you had your period and cramping, a few days and you'll be fine. An Ablasion is when they litierally cortiarize your entire uterus with a very warm balloon. If you are wishing to have children later on this will make it difficult to do. Recovery is the same with both.
