I also heard using Cocoa Butter on my stretch marks isn't a good idea, that it could effect the womb? Is this true?

Stay away from smokers, dont eat to much fish or wild game, if you drink coffee or tea limit it, and make sure all meats are cooked thoroughly (if you live in the UK cook them twice as long as you normally do, they arent cooked enough in this country) and do NOT drink. Fetal alcohol syndrome is a real thing hon.

As for meds, that you should talk to your doc about. but aspirin is up there as are most muscle relaxants. If you take something for a problem make sure your doc knows.

Cocao butter wont do anything to your womb. That's really silly. It will feel good but just so you know, if your gonna get stretch marks there isn't anything you can do. They develope because the skin either is or isn't elastic enough to stretch.

The coco butter is fine to use...although I wouldn't plan on it preventing your baby marks. It will help to sooth your stretching skin though.

Do not take any medicine (even over the counter) with out asking your Dr. first. Tylenol is usually the only thing you can take.

As for foods and drinks...NO CAFFEINE or very little if you can't avoid it. And no alcohol either. Be very careful about fish. You can only have very little and stay away from canned tuna fish totally.

Good luck!

You should avoid Ibuprofene , tylenol is alright but only as directed , Aspirin should also be avoided.
Some people go on about caffein but a little will not hurt the baby .
You should avoid fish and seafood which may be high in mercury. All meat should be well done. Other than that you can eat what you can tolerate.
Obviously avoid alcohol and illegal substances but clear all OTC meds with your doctor.

You can have about anything in moderation. Yep even seafood. The only thing you need to watch are the certain types that you eat. Swordfish or shark are examples to stay away from because they carry the highest levels of mercury but you can have tuna once a week. Your doctor can give you a list of meds to be careful with and witch ones to stay away from totally. Hard liquors my doc told me to stay away from but a glass of wine or a beer every now and again was fine. Good Luck to ya.

wrong.....cocoa butter is great for steachmarks as it helps stop itching and also makes the skin more moist and easier to strech so it prevents more strechmarks accuring ,

the main foods are:
Soft cheese < fetta cheese un pasturised cheese's>
eggs < no soft boiled>
meat < must be cooked nothing raw>
tuna < only 4 cans a week due to the mecury in it>
And NO SHELLFISH....

All medicine, unless otherwise directed by your OBGYN. Fish that are high in mercury (linked to autismn). Obviously avoid alcohol, caffine, pop (takes iron out of your system). Pregnant women are more at risk of anemia, so avoiding pop is a very good idea.

Avoid alcohol, nicotene, all drugs (including street drugs and prescriptions, unless the prescription is OK'ed by your ob/gyn), deli meat, soft serve ice cream, shark, swordfish and tuna. You can have tuna, but not more than 3 oz. per week. You can also have some caffeine (my ob told me 1 cup of regular per day, but follow it with extra water to make up for the diuretic property of the caffeine).
