I run IE6 on win98 and it's giving me problems. Can't repair it either. Can I uninstall it & how?

How do I reinstall it if necessary?
I now use Opera 8.54 which I find v.user friendly.
Will uninstalling IE6 affect Opera in any way?
Appreciate all the help i can get, thanx.

what kind of problems? if your browser has been hijacked, then you should try using mozilla firefox. it is less prone to security issues and has a great UI.

you can try to download the standalone version of IE6 install it and see if that fixes it.
