I have had the same problem before.
99% of the time it is your power supply.
Try hitting F8 button rapidly before windows starts to load, choose safemode.
If you still have the same problem with booting into safemode, replace your power supply and you'll be fixed.

here goes nothing....
1. check you fans or your liquid cooling system, check if they are giving proper cooling and not stopping.

2. go to safe mode windows xp press F8 during booting.... and then run some scans of spyware (which is likely sometimes the problem) also just incase run some virus scans (just to clean it out)

3. check you system's power supply take it out and put it in another computer (any like ur friends or ur old one) (do this step last!)

4. take out your ram stick by stick .... if it works good if not switch your ram sticks into other slots...

5. format computer if tat wont work (last hope)

6. dunno

good luck :)

that is usually a corrupt registry, try tapping F8 when it first starts, and bring up the start menu, choose last known good config, and start it, if that dowsn't help, you need to do a repair install of xp
