Everyday I here fireworks and sometimes I'll here a huge boom.Then I'm lying in bed wondering how anyone could tell fireworks and gunshots apart.For anyone who knows please tell me!

Sometimes you just can't tell. I've heard about every kind of gun, but many fireworks sound the same - especially from a distance. Usually, if it's nightime, the sounds will be from fireworks. Normal people don't target practice after dark.

Ah, yes, it's summer and the streets are alive with the sounds of gunshots and firecrackers. all gunshots don't sound the same, by the way. The way I can tell the difference between gunshots and firecrackers is gunshots have a deeper tone, are louder, and usually there's more than one at a time.

you can't , too much variety, but if you hear metal cling afterward, it might be a gun shot,
a bom is a big big fireworks
