If anybody remembers Rivaldo, he and Ronaldo made an incredible team. His long passed to Ronaldo were exactly on target and he was an excellent support man for Ronaldo. Even before Ronaldo played, Rivaldo played a large part in the Brazillian successes of '94 and '02. His retirement made it hard for any coach to replace him, to this day.

there is no "I" in team but there is an "I" in Brazil so yeah I'll agree if he was still around Brazil would have won.

yes Rivaldo made a good partner with Ronaldo ,, but 1 person doesn´t make a team , unfortunately Brazil played like they were suppose to lose ,, they waited for France to come to them ,, can´t win when played a defensive game ,,,

Rivaldo was a great player (no doubt about that). But I dont think he would have made a difference in this game. France was the better team and no player could have broken their defense

Brazil is just "almost" or "sometimes" better than other countries, but it doesn't mean no one can surpass Brazil.
