No. Obese is usually at least 30% over your ideal weight. If someone is concerned about your weight, they might be afraid you will become obese. I think your weight is probably pretty average. If you stay active, there shouldn't be a problem. If someone expects you to be stick skinny, that isn't any healthier than being overweight. The last thing you should be doing is worrying about your weight at 11. Unless a doctor has expressed concern about your weight, tell everyone else (politely) to mind their own business.

Honey, i don't mean anything bad by this but that is perhaps the silliest thing i've ever heard. You aren't through growing and 110 pounds is a good weight for you. Just exercise regularly so you have a good muscle mass. You are fine.

Sorry, but yes. Try to do more excersises and work out more often. Don't stop eating, just run and eat less fatty foods. I'm 12 and weigh 80m pounds, I'm 5"3. But it all depends on how you look. Some muscles can weigh more than others!

At 5' tall I would say that 110 lbs is not obese at all. I'd say that's pretty close to average.

Obese? No. But the girl's BMI is in about the 90th percentile for the age group, which means that barring exceptional circumstances, she is overweight.
This does not mean that one should throw one's hands up in despair and run around screaming in panic; but it does mean that with some carefully considered, sustained effort, the girl in question could be healthier and happier than she is today.
Either ignoring the facts of one's situation completely (e.g. not even thinking of what one's weight is), or acknowledging them, but ignoring their implications (e.g. knowing one's weight but closing one's eyes to what it means) is a myopic sacrifice of long-term interests in favour of short-term pleasure.
Quite frankly, I cannot see the exhortations of 'be happy with what you have (no matter how poor)' as anything but cruel.

Definately not. At 11 and around that age your body is developing and changing. I am pretty sure that I was well over that at 11. Don't not eat so that you can look thinner. I am sure that you are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise..

No, your not even overweight. Don't try and lose wight ecspecially when your still growing at your age. I tried it, and it dod not work out at all and was very unhealthy. If you don't believe me go to yahoo and type in Bmi. click on the first link and then go to the child and teen BMI calculator.
