If you think the TT Quatro is Audi's zero to sixty car, than you definitely havent driven vary many Audi's. Yes the TT can deliver quite a sporty feel, and it does have the looks, but if you want incredible power and control from an Audi, then Audi's S line is where to look.
Audi's S line offers incredible performance and still comes with Audi's famous luxury and quality. These cars are loads of fun, and are stable enough to cruise around in traffic with. My recomendation is to shoot for the Audi S4. This vehicle is Audi's performance enhancement of the A4. This stylish vehicle can really put the power to the ground. If that isn't enough for you, than you can go a little further and get the RS4, a race-ready, but still street legal version of the S4. If money is not an issue, then I recommend jumping right for the RS6. This vehicle is truly amazing. Mine currently has 513 horse power, and the feeling of fliping it into the trip-tronics shift mode and floring the pedal just melts my senses. Don't get me wrong, the TT is a fun and super efficiant car, and I love taking it on road trips, but if you really want to own the road, then I suggest taking a second look at Audi's real performance cars, the S line. I hope this was helpful for you. Thanks for reading my input.

I own a 2004 TT 3.2 Coupe w/ S-Line Package and I love it...I wouldn't mind a convert but the coupe is better here in the midwest.

As long as you are not looking for a race car, a TT is a safe bet; they perform as well as if not better than their American and Japanese-built counterparts. Also, you can't beat them for style and substance. They are built very solid and have great character..I don't expect them to ever look "dated"

If you like, there is a great article about buying a used TT in the August 2006 issue of Road & Track Magazine. It is called "Used Car Classic: Audi TT" and is on page 115.

Happy Motoring!

I like them, and the members of the local car clubs love them for track days because of the optional quattro drive.

I know they're sporty, but stock, there are other things faster. If it came down to a choice between a Porsche Carrera 4 and the TT for speed, the Porsche would win--but the TT is still good-looking and good-sounding. I'd love to have one as a daily driver.
