most people start off with peer pressure. i believe that anything natural is ok, and anything that has chemicals are the worst. all naturals include things such as marijuana, peyote cactus, [certain types] mushrooms. you cannot o.d., and they are not addictive. native americans, asians, africans, and many other societies used these to get closer to their gods. in todays society, people have learned how to control them and increase their potency, leaving them dangerous and addictive. the moment you step into another dimension you will know why people get high. you probably do it on occasion when you drink liquor or beer or when you smoke cigarettes. those are just what the government says is "legal", they both kill. the only reason mari j. is not is because it is not taxable and the govt will lose out on cash.

Well some people want to get high because they think it makes them cool. Other people think that it is fun. Some people need to get high because it calms them down when they get to rowdy or angry.

Because it's fun, and it makes you think and experience life in new and exciting ways. As long as you're smart and safe about it, there's nothing wrong with it.
