Because people are judgemental and don't realize that self gratification is healthy. I'm pretty sure you can buy sex toys at www.goodvibes.com, even if you are not 18. You may have to lie, but there isn't a way to tell. Or you could try Ebay. Just make sure it's factory sealed!

Probably because the government is afraid that the person under 18 may be performing lewd acts with an adult and using a dildo, and/or believe that minors should not be having sex unless they are 18 or older.

Because 18 is the legal age that you can have sex also they think if your under the age of 18 you shouldnt be thinking about dildos and adult things.

The laws covering the exposure of sexual products to minors make the false assumption that dildos etc. are "marital aids" -- the marriage part aside, they are assuming that these products will be used as part of consensual sex.
As, legally, a minor cannot be said to have consented to sex, products whose purpose is sexual in nature cannot be sold to minors.

As dumb as it is, it's just the law honey! I guess they think that because it's considered an "adult" toy, you have to be legally an "adult" to purchase one! And they think that until your 18 your not "mature" enough to purchase such an item!
