As a former barista at Starbucks, I will give you a little guidance.
COFFEES:
Coffee is a very personal selection. Some people like stronger coffee that has a darker taste ("dark" or "traditional" roasts), then some like it a little bit lighter, with a crisper taste ("light" roasts). Examples of dark roasts: French Roast (darkest), Espresso Roast, Yukon, Sumatra. Examples of lighter roasts: Breakfast blend, LightNote. The middle of the road ones: Verona, House Blend.
My personal favorites: Verona, LightNote, Sumatra, Arabian Mocha Sanani.
TEAS:
There are three basic catergories: Green, Herbal and Black
My favorites: The Green Ginger is really quite good. My favorite tea in the summer is an iced refresh (mint tea). Also, I really enjoy the Earl Grey.
The Chai tea is a black tea that you can either get as a striaght tea or with milk (chai tea latte).
Just as an aside note to those who seem to hate starbucks...Starbucks provides health care to part time employees. This is full coverage for health, dental and mental health. There were a choice of plans when I worked there and they were much better than some of the plans I've had since then. Also, if you work there for more than three months, you get stock options. Local coffee shops, which I like to support as well, do not do this. Starbucks is not the evil empire that everyone assumes it to be. You should also see the sustainability work they do with underdeveloped countries before you form your opinion.

Well I think you can find better coffee than Starbucks! But I am addicted to there Green Tea Frapuccino. MMMMMMM They also make a good Green Tea Latte. I am not a big fan of Starbucks Regular coffee, I guess I have been spoiled by Coles Coffee in Oakland. This is our local coffee house.

The best coffee at Starbucks is the coffee that I don't buy there... They are too, damned expensive and I make a better cup at home with the cheapo coffee from the Spanish grocery store and International Creamers! Nice and strong and flavored just the way I like it for 99 cents a pound!!

Caramel Machiato. But, support your local coffee shops, Starbucks is like Walmart; they come into town like a Stephen King movie, set up shop, and run all the local, family owned, real businesses out. They become the only job in town still around, and then pay extremely low wages, no benifits, and no breaks.

Support your local cafes - some are really good. I was looking for a Starbucks in San Francisco last year and couldn't find one, so went into a local cafe - their coffee was awesome, 10x better.
Also gevalia.com sells an excellent variety of coffee and tea - this is not an ad - I am one customer myself.

Terraza Blend so invigorating.
The taste features a perfect balance refreshing citrusy notes and warm caramelly flavors accentuated with a subtle sweetness. The result is an exceptionally pleasing, exhilarating coffee you can experience year round.
I love buying all the coffee mugs too!!

I like their green tea Frappuccinos, or their peppermint frapps. The vanilla black spiced chai tea is also good.
