I think your problem may be as simple as you dont need to unzip the roms. just place the roms in the roms file. keep them ziped and just use the program, open, and doubble click. Have fun

If you have the emulator program, usually you can just double-click on it to start it. Then, as mentioned above, use the File menu to load the particular rom you're looking for. There are a couple of things to note, though. The first is that most emulators don't need you to unzip the roms. They're able to read them (and it's actually more convenient) if you leave them zipped. The other thing is that there are definitely some downloadable emulators that are corruped or simply don't work. If you have a lot of trouble with one, it could be the program itself, but you can always try downloading from elsewhere or trying a different one.

Generally, you start up the emulator program itself. Then there is an "open" command, typically under the traditional "file" drop down menu. Navigate to the rom you've unzipped, and it should load and begin. For software specific answers, consult your software's help file(s).

Easy, go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Windows Explorer and find where you put the emulator and double click on it. If this doesn't work it will need to be run in "simulated DOS", simply go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt

When the black window opens, type the location of the Folder where you put the emulator, like C:\Temp and then hit enter. Then type the name of the emulator, if its an .exe, .bat or some other executable file (which I assume it is) you will then be up and going. Good luck.
