It's basic, Watson. The Red Sox have a better hitting lineup, better pitching, better defense, better bullpen. So, they are obviously a better team!!
Go Red Sox!!!

The Boston Red Sox are better than the Yankees only early in the season. This upcoming August ask that question again and we will see. I say that because the Yankees have something called patience we are not going to play early in the season acting like its the playoffs. The Red Sox are winning non stop right, but they are trying their best huh? If the Yankees try what you think will be their winning streak? Just ask that question again in the Playoff.

The yankees are the yankees. They do this every year and they have been doing it for the past 2 years. They have a REALLY bad game and then they kick themselfs in the butt and play better and become a world series team again.Who remembers last year?Like for a while last year most of us thought the yankees were a celler team at best. They do have injuries i admit. But someone really needs to realize that Jeter isnt the old Jeter.Jeter is an aging Jeter,he can still play ball but really i havent seen any great catches from him.The yankees need there offence which is what is keeping them afloat in the Al East.

bostons not better than the Yankees. How many rings do u got? like 5 and it took u like 85 years to get them all. Yanks got 26 in the same amount of time. The yanks have had all the greats on their team: Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio, Mantle, Morris, Mattingly, Ford, just to name a few. The only good players the sox had wuz Yastremski and Williams. The only reason the Yanks are in a slump is cause we got a weak pitching staff and everyone is getting old.

At this exact point in this season? Simple--injuries. NYY are decimated by them right now and that combined with a poor pitching staff (but we knew that before the season started).
Anyway, be more worried about the Tigers, Twins and other Sox as unless the Dead Sox win the East, no playoff soup for you.

Why do you have no life? Have you heard of a word called injuries? If no players on the Yankees were out, then they would have a great pitching rotation(Pavano), and a stellar offense(Sheffield, Matsui, and Cano). Also, considering the fact that half of their roster is injured, they're doing pretty well.

Right now, injuries are really hurting the yanks. Shef and Hideki are out, but it's ok because the BOSS talked Giambi into juicing again.

Because they are your team. Big Pappi needs to hit more in the clutch, like ARod. Padlebon stinks! I have a better era!

Unbelievable! Your team has ONE good year and you automatically assume they're better than arguably the best franchise in history. Yeah...good job...
