I saw, on VH1, a sandwich Elvis ate. It consisted of one jar of peanut butter, one jar of jelly and a pound of bacon on a huge hero bread. And the restaurant he ate it from was in the midwest. BUT I CANT REMEMBER THE NAME! That's so frustrating!

It was a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. Toasted very much like you would a grilled cheese. It is a very popular sandwich in the South. As normal as a PBJ around these parts.

Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich
3 tablespoons peanut butter
2 slices light bread
1 banana, mashed
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
Mix soft peanut butter and mashed banana together. Toast bread lightly. Spread peanut butter and mashed banana on toast. Place into melted margarine; brown on both sides.

Gold Digger's something, I forget, it had like Peanut butter, Jelly, and Bacon in it. I know the show I VH1, he flew to like Kentucky or something and had 20 of those sandwiches and wine, then flew back to like California or something. The name has to do with Gold Digger's Smetana or Gold Rush, something with gold in the name.
