As much as I hate to say it, Damon Wayans was not funny at the BET awards. I was totally disappointed in his job of hosting the show, just based on previous hosts (like Monique). The host is supposed to set the tone for the show and I think Damon didn't do a good job of doing that.

He was horrible. The skits might have been funny ten years ago when In Living Color was a huge hit.
He can't go from bad boy to sitcom king back to bad boy again. I wasn't buying it. Based on the audience's reaction, neither were they.
I say get Mon'que back!

No. He was not lively, he not contribute to the success and the greatness of the show. The show was very entertaining on the strength of the performances. I doubt if he will be asked to host again?
