Obviously if there are other creatures out there then they would not look like us. Earth is a fluke. If the Earth happened to be positioned anywhere else in orbit then human life would not be able to be sustained because of the extremes occurring in the climate. However, there are many types of microorganisms that thrive in extreme climates. Archaebacteria, for example, thrive in geo-thermal vents.
There is a lot of research being done in Antarctica to find living microorganisms because scientists feel that if they can survive buried in the ice then it is possible that life could be found beneath the ice on Jupiter's moon Europa. Hope this helps!

The idea that living creatures live outside our planet is most definitely possible...but how ever this theory is usually used as a last resort of the unexplainable, so therefore, while the opportunity of the creatures outside out planet is possible, scientists are not willing to admit that they'll be as advanced to actually find any living creature..yet..because we have a very long way to go in technology to reach that far in observations of the universe, we have yet to scrape the surface.

Given the fact that there are 300 billion stars in our galaxy and 300 billion galaxies in the Universe, that gives us 40 trillion total stars in our Universe.. Given that 80% of all stars are similar to our sun and that there is a high probability that most stars also have planets orbiting them, then i would surmise that the likelihood of their being other living creatures living outside of our solar system to be extremely probable. There are likely billions of planets in our Universe that support life.

I can't believe that our planet holds the only living things in the universe. There are so many things, so many areas of the universe that have not been seen or discovered yet. We are just a minute particle of dust in worlds yet to be discovered. Personally I hope to still be around when life is discovered elsewhere.

YES!!! Right now, there are two human creatures living about 250 miles straight up in the International Space Station. And as for your info, we are not alone in this Universe, believe me!!!

ok.here is serious answer.
some primitive life could exist in our own solar system .a jupiters moon 'europa' has oceans of ice(ice of water).according to biological research, there r some extreme forms of bacteria that can live in very cold icy conditions.some million year old bacteria had been found from glaciers and revived.so,there may b some primitive life on europa or certainly will b if ice turns to water.
further mars is also claimed to b once like earth and had life.
as our solar system is a common system so that planets may resemble each other, there is more chance of life in our own solar sys then any other star system.

Yes, When universe started, we started of as single cell life form. I fully believe evolution of single cells on other planets is possible.
We just may not be able to visualize them due to our limited exposure to other types of atmospheric conditions and how cells will evolve in those atmospheres.
Our horizon of experience is limited by what we experienced in a few million years in our atmosphere because that is all we have worked with so far.

yes there are.scientists always say that water must be present to support life, oxygen and all the essential environment. YES!BUT ITS ONLY FOR EARTHLINGS.they say it in reference to human life on earth.I don't blame them coz they don't have any more believable references.I believe there are other creatures living out there and uses other life supporting means.what I mean creatures here is not like E.T stuffs.its more like insects and germs.but I can't deny that there might be E.T stuffs.Just my views..

With all the stars in the Universe, it would be hard to imagine that there wasn't some life out there. I think there may even be life on Europa, one of the moons of Jupiter. They are going to check in a few years.

My thinking is there has to be. Ever hear of the Drake equation? This person used statistics to argue that there must be other life out there. And as Carl Sagan one said , if there isn't what a waste of space.
