Go to top of browser and left click on "Tools"
Next left click on "Internet Options"
Next left click on "Privacy"
Next left click on "Advanced"
Next Click the prefrences you desire.
Click "OK" or "APPLY" Whichever is shown and then say yes to the question you will probably get asked by your computer and that's it.

You don't activate cookies. They are small programs placed in your computer by sites you visit. They are primarily designed to identify you when you download the site. But the also, frequently, track what you do on the Net and record that info for transmission to whomever originated that specific cookie.
