Maybe being nosy helps you live longer?
I've also seen a lot of old people who are just out of it, vegetative, cranky, don't care what you do (opposite nosy), etc.
Seems whatever any one particular one is, they are categorized more so than the young - or maybe time has made them more of whatever they were when younger.
Old people do have a lot of experience, and do want to share it,
and so are often just trying to help.

We have to understand that old people has a strong need to feel that they are still important and still in control maybe that is one of the main reasons why they have to know everything.

Old people who are nosy, were nosy when they were young. Age has nothing to do with it.

Maybe they are just lonely and you may think they are nosy but they really just want to get to know you.

Maybe the older we get the less we care if we offend people with inappropriate questions. Sounds like freedom to me....

They think age puts them on some sort of pedestal. Most are just drugged and crazy.
