That matters what exactly the misfunction is. Problems with the cortex are disorders concerning epinephrine, the medula makes cortisol, aldosterone and androgens. Problems with the production of these chemicals and hormones are usually either a genetic problem with the enzymes that make them or in the signals telling them to be made. There is no way to correct the signals or enzymes without medication unless the problem is due to the lack of a nutrient (which is very rare in any culture that is rich enough to be talking on the internet) or due to some sort of overgrowth of the tissue that would have to be repaired surgically.

not unless there is actually a cyst or mass on the adrenal gland that may be able to be removed.
