For example: Bill Gates from Marketing Computers, Howard Hughes from aircraft, Donald Trump from real estate.

Bill Gates did not get rich from writing software. He became rich from marketing. He co-authored a version of the BASIC language and then he bought DOS for $56,000 and marketed it with IBM PCs. He did very little work with computers other then marketing his companys work.

Also, to clarify my question, I'm looking for the name of an individual who is wealthy (At least a millionaire) from trading cars.

Dealerships can be big money makers if you're selling the types of cars that people in your area want. For example, Ford sells a lot of Crown Victorias in the mid-west, and expensive foreign cars sell well in California.

But if you're talking inventing or manufacturing them, that's a whole other story. Bill Gate didn't just market his computers, he designed the software and built the machines. Hughes designed and built airplanes. You hear about them because they were geniuses in their fields. Henry Ford isn't famous for his wonderful cars, but rather the fact that he "invented" the assembly line to manufacture them at rock bottom prices.

So, if you're really into cars, get into a dealership, learn the ropes, get a business degree, then set the world on fire (as it were).

Think about the people who started the famous car companies like Henry Ford invented the first car , I'm sure he got really rich since he has had a famous car company since 1903(for 103 YEARS that's a lot of years) , has 178.1 BILLION dollars

Just think of the founders or presidents of famous car companies

Cars are no biz anymore. Its better biz spares due to the shorter life of the cars you have to start replacing components in the first year. Try importing china or south american spares (ISO certified only). Other option for car biz is second hands to other countries. If you wanna try let me know.

No..I can't say wealthy though they may 'appear' to be so because of the cars. Right now, I'd say they're working just this side of the ol' red line.

I do sell cars and I am wealthy.

However, the car business is recent.

If you go to auto auctions you can pick up cars for almost nothing. Recondition them (detail, new tires, tune-up, paint touch-up, oil change) and sell them retail.
