The Pistons offered Ben 12 mil/year, and the Bulls offered 14 mil/year for 4 years. Bem saw an oppurtunity to be on a team that is improving quickly. Thomas and Wallace should make great additions to the Bulls roster.

Don't have any links, but look...these days, money talks. And if the Bulls were willing to overpay him, the Pistons were not. It's not like you can point to 1 Piston in their success over the past 2 seasons, it has been a team effort.

Shaq showed no loyalty to Orlando in the late 90's, and there are countless other examples of athletes taking bigger paydays and leaving their team.

He won't put the Bulls over the top, but I wouldn't rule out an advance into the conference semifinals next year if this is true.

This is going to be huge. Now the Bulls are developing a nice team with some incredible athletes in Tyrus Thomas and Ben Wallace, and a young sharpshooter in Ben Gordon. This is going to hurt Detroit too. I would be surprised to see Detroit make it to the Finals next year with the loss of Ben Wallace. Detroit's defense was already going down, and now without big Ben they are really going to be hurting. Here are some links about it.

Good move by Ben. The Bulls seem to be on the rise. They should get great leadership from him. Not sure what this is gonna do to Detroit. They seemed to get away from the winning with 'D' a little this year so who knows if it's gonna hurt at all
