Invasion to earth, Not to the United States, LoL

An alien invasion would hinge on two things. First, there would have to be aliens capable of traveling to our planet in numbers great enough to make an effective invasion. Second, we would have to have something that they wanted enough to take by force. I doubt that our fossil fuels would be enough to trigger that, but maybe another natural resource such as water or maybe a mineral that we have that is very rare in other parts of the galaxy, or maybe a technology that we possess that they do not. But if they could travel across light years we are more than likely not to have any tech they would want, and water is abundant on several of the larger satellites orbiting other planets, unless they want us for a food source I'd say we were safe.

i am certain there have always been a number of extraterrestrials on earth at any given time and that they are not all of the same species or even same planet or solar system. some are watching us and some are getting involved in our activites. an invasion is possible but unlikely, they are here and could have invaded at anytime.

Sure. Imagine if Adolf Hitler had had the ability to take his regime to different planets, claiming them in the name of Deutschland.
Or if George W. Bush had the same ability in a galaxy of oil-rich planets governed by militarily weaker powers than his.
The odds of visiting aliens being unfriendly are probably greater than the odds that they would come in peace.

NO, everything we have can be found almost everywhere. Aliens in the movies are always taking natural resources such as water. Water is found on a LOT of planets out there.

Humans invade, I think that if there is a visitation from interdimensional or alien beings, they will have achieved a far greater understanding than that which drives mankind to attack and control his neighbour out of fear.

Hmmm...hello there...well i take it you are talking about forigners, yes could be. I believe although I don't want to say this but i believe one day English will not be the language in America, as horrible as that sounds it is true, and yes we are at iraq now...why should we be there anyways? I just don't understand it.

I'm not sure we have anything they want. Perhaps they avoid us because we are too 'war-like.'
Then again, history has repeated itself. Look what happened to the American Indian.
Hopefully, if 'they' are out there, they are more civilized than us.
