Go to the buy screen. Clean the Misc. icon (the three circles in a triangle), click on the Children Icon (the teddy bear), and choose your crib.

I love that game! You are so awesome for playing it. Well I haven't gotten to that level in a long time but I have never bought a crib, it just appears for me. Just improve your relationship with your spouse and while your making contact with them it'll just appear out of no where (at least that's how it works for me).

You can click the build mode twice to have two modes, room mode and certain objects mode, in the room mode, click the bedroom one it will change then press misc. and you should find it.
