I'm having a baby in 2 wks and want to burn some good CDs to take with me. I have most of Enya's stuff but what else is similarly relaxing and low key?

I love Enya!
Problem is I've never heard anyone else that even comes close to her style of music. I hope I'm wrong and someone does know of somebody else, because I love her type and variety of music.
Anyway, congratulations on the new baby on the way! Hope you have a good name picked out for they young one. If the babys a girl have you considered Enya for a first or middle name? Just a thought.

Enya has a beautiful voice. Also if you can get Celtic music,like
the special programming that was on tv at the beginning of the year and the Celtic women singers had the most beautiful voices I ever heard. Listen to music by The Celtic Women Tours, One of
the main singers was Chloe and Lisa , Orla and Meav and they had a women fiddler name Mairead who had played with Lord of the dance. These women have voices like angels and sang Enya
songs, Celtic Folk Music and other beautiful songs.

You will like sarah brigthman too and you could like Hevia ( is a male, very instrumetal perpetual dimension music that plays all the gaitas in the planet ) . Yani is nice if you like pianos, basically the magic of Enya is that she sings in Keltic ( or English ) and the sounds and the whole is very spiritual but armonic and positivist at the same time.

If you do a search for Irish-Celtic music you will have alot of luck-try Bjork she has some beautiful songs Enya has a website where she has a new release you will love it !!!Dixie Chicks even have some soothing ballads,,,There are alot of celtic music band that are beautiful to listen to...Any of the music search engines are helpful-Limewire.Yahoo,Music Match just look around then listen to samples to see what you like...

Michelle Tumes. She isn't very well known, and shes a Christian singer, but her music is very similar to Enya, and is extremely relaxing. You should google it, to see if she comes up.
