If a man has prostate cancer, BPH (benigin prostetic hypertrophy), enlarged prostate this helps reduce the prostate and possibly any growths before the prostate having to be surgically removed, this also is done for testical cancer.

Female hormones (estrogen and progesterone) used to be used in men with advanced prostate cancer. Other, more effective and less feminizing drugs are used in the U.S. today.
