My husband has had some problems in this area I have tried everything to intise him. I am 20 years younger than he is and I am always begging him for it. Is it normal for him to not want it? I am lucky if it happens every other month

yes he is diabetic and he has been to the doc... He feels bad about the way he is and I know that doesn't help the situation at all. He has taken viagra and it helps only with the physical part not the desire part.... and he doesn't like the victoria's secrest stuff or toys...

men's hormones decrease with age as women's do. this will effect their sex drive though a man at age 50 should still be raring to go and can go a pretty long time if he knows what he is doing.
Have hubby checked out by his doctor to do a hormone level test. there is something called DHEA which is non prescription which can help boost male hormone levels but this should only be done advise by a Dr because if there is a family history of prostate cancer it should not be used. Lack of sex drive could also be related to some heart conditions ....best advise get hubby to his Doc who knows maybe Viagra could be the answer or some spicy Victoria's Secret on your part might do the trick....Good Luck

It is abnormal for a man not to want sex. It could be a psychological or he may have a functional problem. Usually when someone is depressed, they have decreased libido. It would be best to consult a doctor. Usually as men get older, it takes longer to get an erection, but not to have feeling of libido is definitely abnormal.

I'm 54 and I spend a lot of time mad or disappointed with my wife because her sex drive is a lot lower than mine. I'm good for 3 or 4 times a week and she's OK with almost NEVER.

I'm 54... I love my wife of 25 years to death... I love her so much I can't tell her that she's gotten fat... that when I see her naked I'm slightly grossed out... and I'd really rather not.

That... and it's always the same old thing.... stimulate her clit... get her hot and excited... work... work... work at pleasuring her... no real contact on her part.. no stimulation of me by her... then the sudden demand that I put it in now.... and always from the same position... it gets old.... really old.... I'd rather masturbate while she's not around.

He either has a mental issue he's trying to deal with, a medical issue or else he's contracting out the previously needed services.

Have him thoroughly checked out by a doctor. If he's taking medications, that can affect his libido. Discuss all of this with his doctor. Also, he might be under alot of stress. good luck, dear.
