There were four movies and according to imdb.com a fifth made for tv movie. The first four movies deal with at least one great white shark and also at least one member of the Brody family (original characters of Peter Benchley). These movies include:
Jaws (1975)
Jaws 2 (1978)
Jaws 3-D (1983) also known as Jaws 3
Jaws: The Revenge (1987) also known as Jaws 4
The made for tv movie that imbd lists under the Jaws franchise is called Cruel Jaws (1995) aka Jaws 5. It is about a tiger shark and does not deal with any members of the Brody family. So there you have it: 4 or 5 movies, depending on how you look at it. But the question is: after Spielberg left did anyone care about the Jaws franchise?
