It all depends on how you look at it, for your question was not quite clear.

If your purpose was to fail, and you did fail, then you have succeeded in the fact that you failed when you wanted to. So if you try to fail a task, and succeed in failing that task, then you have succeeded in your purpose to fail that task. But if you try to fail a task, then succeed in that task, then you have failed your purpose of failing that task. It all depends on what happens, your question, again, is not all so clear:

Did you succeed in failing a task you meant to fail, or did you succeed in a task you meant to fail?

Either way you will both succeed and fail something, whether it be your primary or secondary goal.

Succeeding is succeeding. Period. Your intentions are of no importance. Oh, and remember this;" 'tis better to aim high and fail, than to aim low and succeed". Come on people, let's all stay positive now!

You have learned ONE of the ways in which your goal cannot be accomplished. It is said that Edison tried 1000 different materials before he finally hit on cotton thread, charred to carbon, as a filament for his light bulb. What if he had given up after 999? We'd all be using the Internet by candlelight!

i advise you to first fail and then succeed. for example, if u fall from the first step, when climbing stairs, u dont get hurt. but if u fall from the last step then u will get seriously hurt. hope u understand well.

Hi, that's a creative and interesting question. Well, I would say you've succeeded to fail by succeeding. If that makes any sense! lol

Personally, the definition of success is what you think it means, not exactly what the general population sees as success. So if you are satisfied and pleased with the results you have achieved and the consequences that come with them, then you have succeded.
